Photographic Styles:
Traditional: This style of wedding photography mostly consists of formal, posed group photographs. A lot of skill and attention to detail goes into taking successful photographs, as the more people in the shot, the more can go wrong.
Contemporary: With this style the photographer is very much in control of what he's shooting. He will direct you, telling you how to pose as he shoots, much like in a studio.
In these situations you have to really throw yourself into it and keep the momentum going. This is your chance to be a model for the day.
This style of photography may not be the one for you if:
Reportage: is for people that want the emotion and feeling of their wedding day captured on camera.
In a non-obtrusive way the photographer photographs the day as it unfolds, with minimal intervention. He always has to be in the right place at the right time, so he doesnt miss any key events.
So you have to be happy with the photographer following you around for most of the day, otherwise there may be a problem! If you could cope with that and be able to ignore the photographer (which is what he wants), you should end up with wonderfully natural photos.
